DELIVERY CONDITIONS FOR AGENTS

Basic conditions for delivery rates which apply to all of our given rates

We handle shipments to several European Countries via port of Rotterdam.
Below mentioned conditions apply to our standard delivery rates schedule or for rates which are specially asked for and given per e-mail.

A) All rates are per cubic meter (cbm), which is equal to 100kgs, 221 lbs and/or 35cuft. The highest/greatest will be charged.
B) All rates are in Euro’s and will be invoiced in Euro’s. Invoices must be paid, in Euro’s, prior to delivery, or departure to delivery, unless otherwise agreed in advance in writing.
C) All rates are excluding local VAT. VAT is not applicable for shipments coming from out-side European Community countries. For intra-European shipments VAT is not applicable if payer can submit a legal VAT number.
D) We keep the right to reload shipments in our own trucks for delivery and /or distribution to any kind of European destination(s).
E) All consignments will be weighted and photographed and the actual weight or volume will be invoiced.
F) Additional charges for disassembling and dropping, if a wooden construction is built into the container to load household goods over and on top of the car, is Euro 550,–.
G) Terminal handling charges in Rotterdam and/or Amsterdam will be Euro 275,– per container or Euro 95,– minimum per cubic meter gross for LCL shipments and/or consolidated shipments. If applicable, for sea and airfreight shipments, the following cost will charged back: storage at the port, handover fee, ISPS, Marpol, Delta surcharge (Euro 100,– per shipment), administration cost for de-consolidator and/or freight forwarder or any other related charges, plus 15 percent surcharge.
H) Automobiles, loaded in container with or without household goods, must be picked up by the owner on the day of unloading of the container and/or customs clearance at our warehouse unless otherwise quoted and/or agreed. Yellow Move warehouses are located approx. 15 miles from Amsterdam/Rotterdam, 300 miles from Paris France, 500 miles from Zurich Switzerland, 250 miles from Frankfurt Germany.

Storage charges free warehouse in the Netherlands, minimum of 5cbm:
– Storage Euro 9,– per cbm per month
– Storage handling in/out Euro 18,– per cbm, one time charge
– Storage charges for standard automobile is Euro 350,– per month
Storage will be invoiced with a minimum of one month thereafter per week minimum.

Storage charges bonded warehouse in the Netherlands, minimum of 5cbm:
– Storage Euro 18,– per cbm per month
– Storage handling in/out Euro 36,– per cbm, one time charge
– Storage charges for standard automobile is Euro 600,– per month
– Additional customs documents Euro 250,– per shipment
Storage will be invoiced with a minimum of one month thereafter per week minimum.

Delivery rates are inclusive of:

– normal customs clearance
– line haul to final residence
– unloading, unpacking of furniture and table top unpacking of boxes
– delivery services up to 2nd floor (ground floor is first floor), normal access with a
maximum distance from truck to front door of 25 meters/steps
– removal of debris at time of delivery

Delivery rates are exclusive of:

– port handling, deconsolidation charges at port of arrival
– demurrage charges at port of arrival. Free days of demurrage depends per carrier. We
charge a rate of Euro 95,– per day minimum after the 3rd working day of arrival for
demurrage and administration fees
– storage charges and warehouse handling
– duties/taxes etc.
– hoisting (rates upon request and situation)
– outside elevator, which can be arranged for Euro 250,– per day till 3rd
floor or Euro 450,– per day or part until 7th floor
– shuttle services, which can be arranged for Euro 350,– per day or part.
– parking permit, which can be arranged for Euro 175,– per day or part.
– blocking of street and/or parking permit (space), which can be arranged for Euro 350,–
per day or part.
– removal of debris later then the delivery day. Additional cost per time Euro 175,–.
– customs inspection charges by red selected shipments. If any Euro 75,– per hour
excluding handling fee if any.
– delivery of piano’s or heavy items (upon request)
– delivery of items which will not fit via the normal doors or stairs (upon request)
– unpacking and assembling of IKEA furniture or similar systems or new furniture/items,
this can be arrange for Euro 75,– per man per hour with a minimum of Euro 75,– per
hour. This can only be arranged at the time of delivery with 7 days’ notice prior to
delivery.
– handyman services or house cleaning service which can be organized for a rate of
Euro 45,– per hour per man with a minimum of 4 hours per man.

Additional services

Our rate for customs clearance at the port of arrival of car, boat or motorcycle (if shipped separately Ro-Ro) is Euro 250,– per item.
When a car, boat or motorcycle is shipped into a container together with household goods we charge (minimum volume household goods 10cbm) plus Euro 450,– per customs clearance and unloading per item.
When a car, boat or motorcycle is shipped in a separate container: Euro 1.050,– for the first item and Euro 350,– for handling/unloading any additional item, ready for pick up.
Car(s), motorcycle(s) boat(s) etc. must be picked up within 3 working days after customs clearance by the owner/customers. After 3 working days we will charge storage charges.
